The rigid components of these round permanent magnet chucks enable precise grinding or light milling jobs. The carefully selected pole spacing ensures the greatest possible grip on wide workpieces. Magnetic chucks are ideal for holding magnetic workpieces on I.D. grinders and other machinery that requires a rotating chuck.
The round permanent magnet chuck is equipped with an additional top plate to accommodate workpieces of all types, sizes and shapes. The thick top plate is laminated from steel and stainless steel, then brazed in a furnace to form a solid piece. Rugged top and bottom plates maintain accuracy, and combined centering grooves simplify workpiece alignment.
Application
The round permanent magnet chuck is suitable for holding workpieces for turning on lathe machines and for internal cylindrical grinding machines, milling machine, etc.
