SmCo Disc Magnet is a high-performance rare earth permanent magnet material based on samarium (Sm) and cobalt (Co) alloy, belonging to the second generation of rare earth permanent magnets. Its core characteristics and industrial applications are as follows: Composition and magnetic properties: The typical composition is 35% samarium, 60% cobalt and a small amount of iron and copper, divided into two categories: SmCo₅ and Sm₂Co₁₇. Among them, the 2:17 type has a higher magnetic energy product, and the upper limit of the operating temperature can reach 350°C, which is better than NdFeB magnets.
